Anayadikuthu, a family‑friendly cascade near Thommankuthu in Idukki, drops over terraced laterite shelves in a forested foothill landscape along the Thodupuzha–Vannapuram route. Local legend says two elephants fought here and one fell, giving the falls their name. The stream is fullest in the monsoon, but from November to February the pools are clearest for viewing, with Kattadikadavu and Thommankuthu eco‑trails nearby for day itineraries.
