Hirni Water Falls - History details

At the edge of the Ranchi plateau, near Bandgaon (West Singhbhum), Hirni Falls plunges 37 m as the Ramgarha River drops into a forested gorge. A watchtower provides sweeping panoramas of the jungle and misty spray. Approximately 68 km from Chaibasa, it is best visited Oct–Mar and during monsoon for dramatic flow. Roads via Khunti/Ranchi–Chaibasa make access easy.
