A lesser-known ridge near Kattappana that looks across the Periyar valley and Western Ghats. Reached via a short off‑road stretch from Ambalakkavala side, it’s popular at sunrise/sunset in post‑monsoon months for cloudscapes and long views. Facilities are minimal; the last 1–1.5 km can be rough, so jeeps/bikes with ground‑clearance are preferred.
