Perched in the Shivalik offshoots above Panchkula, the 200‑year‑old Morni Fort was revamped in 2017 as a nature museum and learning centre. Exhibits on local flora–fauna and conservation sit within a hill fort associated with regional rulers and nearby 12th‑century Trimurti temple by the twin lakes of Tikkar Tal. Cool climes, woodland trails and lake views make it a day escape from Chandigarh.
