Muniyara - Anakottapara Park - History details

Situated near Marayoor in Idukki, Muniyara–Anakottapara Park contains Neolithic dolmens dated 3000–1400 BC. These megalithic burial chambers overlook the Marayoor valley and lie along the Kanthalloor–Marayoor road. The site reflects prehistoric habitation and is surrounded by sugarcane fields and sandalwood forests.
