Raised on a hill above Bicholim in the late 17th century, this open‑air eidgah is linked to Prince Akbar II, Aurangzeb’s rebel son sheltered by the Marathas (1681); local tradition places its construction around the 1680s. Its Persian‑Deccani plan—arched cube, pumpkin dome and crescent‑topped pillars—faces a mihrab wall and commands panoramic views. Best days: Eid al‑Fitr/Eid al‑Adha prayers when access is permitted and weather is clear.
