On the Arkavathy near Magadi, this Ramanagara hilltop offers sweeping views of Manchanabele (Muninagara) Dam—a 1980s reservoir supplying irrigation and nearby towns. Granite knolls, scrub forests and sunsets make it a popular day trip from Bengaluru (~35 km). Swimming is prohibited due to sudden fault lines; enjoy the vistas instead. Best months: Oct–Mar; dawn and dusk are spectacular.
