Sirikhola - History details
Sirikhola (also spelled Srikhola) is a serene Himalayan village located in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal, not in Sikkim, and is often visited by trekkers coming from the Sikkim border. It is a popular resting point on the trekking route from Sandakphu and Phalut. The village of Soreng is in Sikkim, but Sirikhola is in the neighboring state. It is a quiet destination for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
