Vijay Diwas Memorial - History details
The Vijay Diwas Memorial, more formally known as the Kargil War Memorial, is located in Dras, Ladakh. It was built by the Indian Army at "Ground Zero" to honor the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the 1999 Kargil War. The memorial is a poignant tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian armed forces during Operation Vijay.
